After taking the summer off of snow, Luke Mitrani was hungry to ride and it showed at the first stop of the Grand Prix at Copper Mountain. After qualifying 2nd in his heat, he came in confident into the finals. Landing his first run of double Michaelchuk, frontside 9, backside indy, frontside 1080 and wrapping it all up with a cab double 1080. Earning himself a 96.4 and putting him in first where he would stay for the remainder of the contest.
