Ryan Villopoto seems more confident then ever, showing up to San Diego with his head down charging.
RV got out front by lap two and took control. Reed kept Villopoto in his sights the whole race until lap 18 where lappers would eventually slow Ryan down enough to where Reed would get around him and take the lead. But RV was having none of that and quickly made the pass right back.
Villopoto now has three wins out of the six rounds so far.
Dean Wilson tucks around the first corner of the Main Event, eventually coming out second and quickly moving into the lead a couple turns later.
You could tell Deano came to San Diego to win. He pulled the holeshot in his Heat race and lead from start to finish and pretty much repeated that performance in the Main Event.
This was Dean’s second win of the season and he walks away with the points lead after Eli Tomac crashed out of the Main Event.
Deano now has control of the points as the West Coast takes a break and the series heads to the East Coast rounds.
RV was all smiles after this win.
